happy Easter
I went home for Easter weekend. Had a fun time surfing lowers and hanging with the fam. On my drive back, which took place at around 8:45 PM, a couple cars decided they were going to pull off the side of the road. Not sure what for, but the result was at least 5 miles of traffic. I have lost faith in American drivers. Looky-Loos.
Needless to say, it took me 2 hrs to get from San Clemente to SDSU. Double the normal time. Had to reward myself for the long drive.

Our chicken is the shit
A few days ago my family and I celebrated my dad's birthday. Instead of going out to dinner like most would, we decided to get creative and have a little fun. We hit the super market in search of something fun to cook. While we had no particular food on our radar, everyone wanted something that doesn't get consumed often at our house. The refrigerated section grabbed my attention right off the bat, and that's when I saw drumsticks. Chicken drumsticks. Along side these bad boys were half chickens. After making the executive decision to get them, I went home and found a recipe that mirrored what I had imagined the drum sticks tasting like. A solid 3 hr soak in a marinade ensured the flavor wouldn't be lost in the flames of the BBQ. Needless to say, they were amazing. Happy birthday papa!

cant wait to try em out. A bio test tomorrow morning means the virgin blades will be on ice untill i finish the test.

...and there goes the magic stick
while surfing the OB jetti, i was pig dogging in a barrel, getting absolutely shacked. But, unfortunately, it sucked out too much and i'm pretty sure the bottom grabbed my fin and ripped it out breaking the box and kind of ruining the board...
