Violated

January 25, 2011.  It was a sad day.  I parked my car in a crowded area along the coast in La Jolla.  It was just like any other day--the sun was shining, and the waves looked fun, and people were out and about enjoying their day.  I changed into my wetsuit, put my clothes into my backpack, locked my car, and ran down to the beach.

After a fun session of about 2 hours in length, I returned to my car to find that a window had been broken on my car and my shorts taken.  Yes, my shorts (including my boxers).  In my shorts was my wallet and cell phone.  They were gone too.  Frantically, I called my mum and told what had happened, and to terminate my credit and debit cards.  It was too late though.  The thief had racked up well over $200 dollars worth of charges.  I drove back to my apartment wrapped in a towel.  I then had to go to class, and following that, I drove back home to SC.  I called the bank, found out about the fraudulent charges, and then filed a police report.  This morning I got a new window, and am in the process of rebuilding my wallet.  It's a pain in the ass and I hope no one has to ever do it.  Here's some pictures.

That's  a hole

If you can see, I brought two boards.  The thief  did not take my back up board.  Thank god!
